Ingredients:
1-2 Jalapeño per person (deseeded)
1 Sweet Italian sausage for every 5 Jalapeño’s (casing removed)
1 Slice maple bacon for each Jalapeño (thin cut works best)
1/2 Cup Panko breadcrumbs
Pro Tip: Thin cut bacon comes with about 18 slices. So by 1 pack bacon, 3 – 8in long sweet Italian Sausages to make 15 Jalapeño’s
Instructions:
1. Wash Jalapeño, slice top off and deseed using a pepper corer or butter knife
2. Stuff Jalapeño with the raw ground sausage (Add other ingredients i.e. cheese to make it your own)
3. Wrap with bacon, start by covering the Jalapeño top and spiral the bacon down the Jalapeño
4. Roll peppers in breadcrumbs (Breadcrumbs will stick to bacon)
5. Place pepper in a pepper rack (preferred)
6. Sprinkle some more breadcrumbs along top of Stuffed Jalapeño
7. Bake on indirect heat (375 degrees) for 30-40 minutes or until bacon is crispy
